When answering “Who is your hero?” the answers were easy and definitively their parents. The video, released on X (formerly Twitter) is chocked full of great photos from their players respective childhoods. There are mentions of the wisdom imparted form their parents — hard work, inspiration, and support.
Show respect, be yourself, always smile, and treating others how you want to be treated all made the list of traits that their parents have passed down to this generation of athletes.
As we all know, the members of the Spurs are expected to be community leaders. They are “over themselves” and have that extra special something that Pop sees as essential to the team.
Nice to see from where those treasured qualities stem.
