If you watched Saturday night’s home again as the Spurs hosted the Chicago Bulls, then you saw how San Antonio recognized Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Just before the game Zach Collins and Devin Vassell addressed the crowd.

Their pre-MLK Day message came two days early as the Silver & Black are in Atlanta, the cradle of the civil rights movement, playing the Hawks on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

In honor of Dr. King and his lifelong dedication to the civil rights movement, the NBA always has multiple recognitions throughout the day.

There have already been videos airing during games commemorating King’s words and accomplishments.

The Spurs have added a special, limited-edition shirt.

This shirt not only represents love for the team but also serves as a symbol for unity, justice, and progress. Don’t miss this chance to make a statement and be part of a movement that promotes equality and inclusivity. To purchase this limited edition shirt visit the fan shop or shop online by clicking the link below while supplies last.
