Frost Bank President Pat Frost announced his retirement back in August. After 40 years, he is completing his tenure as group executive vice president of Cullen/Frost Bankers, Frost Bank’s holding company, and president of Frost Insurance.

Frost will continue in a consulting role with the bank as a director of Cullen/Frost.

Frost has had a relationship with the Spurs spanning the entirety of their time in San Antonio. This year, Frost Bank took over as the namesake of the San Antonio Spurs sports arena, formerly the AT&T Center, and SBC Center before that.

As the tweet states, Pat Frost maintains the stubs of every game he has ever attended as keepsakes.

He is the great-great-grandson of the bank’s founder, T.C. Frost.
