The Spurs lost a disappointing game on Thursday night against the in Chicago. With Victor Wembanyama on a minutes restriction, the young team just lacked the scoring punch to challenge the Bulls as Chicago pulled away for a 114-95 win after the score was respectable for most of the first three quarters.
Tonight, they face another veteran team that knows how to score, with Luka Doncic back from a game off last night as the Mavs lost to the Rockets 122-96. Both the Spurs and Mavericks have a three game losing streak coming into tonight’s game, but that might be the only similarity between the two teams, as Dallas should be a playoff team this year and the Spurs are looking at their worst record in the history of the franchise so far. In Dallas the future is now, and in San Antonio, the future is at least a couple years off.
The Spurs need to work on improving their offense, and since the Mavs are near the bottom of the league in defensive stats, tonight might be an excellent time to work things out. Let’s watch and see if the passes continue to be late and off target, or whether the Silver and Black can clean things up in their last game before Christmas. They’re off until December 26, so there’s no reason to keep the powder dry, the Spurs need to execute better and score some points tonight. Let’s go!
Tonight’s game is on KENS5 which is available over the air in San Antonio and most the Texas Hill Country. If you have an antenna on your television, change the input to LIVE TV and watch the game for free!
Luka Doncic will not make a single defensive play in tonight’s game.
One final word:
Go Spurs GOOOOOO!!
