The first domino of free agency has fallen for the Spurs. Free agent forward Doug McDermott has agreed to a three-year, $42 million contract with the Spurs, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

McDermitt averaged a career high 13.5 points on 52.3% shooting, 38.8% from three for the Indiana Pacers last lesson. His addition will add much needed depth at both forward positions and three-point shooting to the Spurs roster. He cannot officially sign until Friday, August 6.

Welcome to San Antonio, Doug!
