The San Antonio Spurs have conducted a pre-draft workout with Oregon State University shooting guard Ethan Thompson, per Jesse Sowa of the Gazette-Times.

He also worked out for the Hawks and Warriors and has plans to work out for the Pistons and Timberwolves.
Sowa also reports Thompson worked out for the Golden State Warriors and Atlanta Hawks and has plans to work out for the Detroit Pistons and Minnesota Timberwolves.
At 22-years-old, Thompson is one of the oldest players in this class. And while he saw increased productivity each year under head coach Wayne Tinkle, few draft pundits have him on their second-round radar.
The six-five swingman averaged 15.7 points and 3.9 assists per game for an upstart Beavers squad that upset Colorado in the Pac-12 Conference Championship and made a surprise run to the Elite Eight.
After signing with Oregon State in 2016 and becoming the highest-ranked recruit in school history, Thompson ended his senior year with All-Pac-12 First Team and NCAA Midwest Region All-Tournament Team honors.
Thompson played with Drew Eubanks during his tenure with the Beavers. The Puerto Rican two-guard also sits second only behind Gary Payton on Oregon State’s all-time minutes played leaderboard.
The Oregon State standout was among the 353 early entry candidates for the 2021 NBA Draft. College players who applied for early entry have until July 7 to withdraw from the draft to retain their NCAA eligibility.
The 2021 NBA Draft will take place on July 29 at 7 PM CST at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. ESPN and ABC will televise the first round, and the second round will air exclusively on ESPN.
