Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.
After the first two games that were dominated by the Suns, it seemed like that this was going to be a short series, and tonight’s game could have ended with brooms sweeping Jrue Holiday, Khris MIddleton, and Devin Booker to Las Vegas to join Team USA. The US Olympic men’s basketball team has been looking like they could need the help, but they might need to wait a bit, depending on what happens tonight. The Bucks won easily on Sunday, with a dominating performance from Giannis Antetokounmpo that helped to unlock solid performances from Middleton and Holiday as Milwaukee cruised to an easy 20 point win. But Milwaukee will also need to hold home court tonight to keep this a competitive series, because only the Warriors blow 3-1 leads in the finals. If the Bucks can win tonight, the Olympians are going to have to fly to directly to Tokyo after the final game to join Team USA, but it’s going to be a lot of fun for the fans. Let’s watch tonight and see how it goes.
One final word:
Go Spurs GOOOOOO!! Yeah, they aren’t playing tonight, but you can still back the Silver and Black tonight. Go Forbes. Go Monte. Go Bud!
