The Coronavirus pandemic is slowly but surely coming to an end in the United States as nearly half of the country’s population has been fully vaccinated.

Businesses are reopening, friends and family are reuniting, and NBA teams are finally welcoming droves of ecstatic fans back into stadiums for playoff basketball.

As the nation collectively regains its footing among the first semblance of normalcy in more than a year, the league continues inching towards restoring its usual scheduling.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the NBA has set dates for several significant events for the 2021-2022 season, including training camps, season openers, and the 2022 Draft.

While Spurs fans can expect the return of preseason hoops this October, there’s a good chance San Antonio might look like a completely different team after an offseason rife with the potential for change.
