The good guys did not have much of anything going against the Utah Jazz who outclassed them on both ends. Luka Samanic, however, took advantage of the boost in minutes to become the tenth different Spurs player to lead the team this season. He poured in 15 points while Devin Vassell and Drew Eubanks each scored 14 points apiece.
Tall Luka shined in a game that the Spurs struggled overall against the class of the Western Conference. Here’s hoping the 15 point career high mark will be a quick afterthought.

The finish was nice, but Keldon Johnson showing off some vision and passing skills is certainly great to see as well:

And another. Tre Jones found Lonnie Walker IV for a sky-high slam:

And another one. Lonnie Walker split two defenders and then split the lane for a one-handed jam:

Tre Jones took the elevator to the top floor for this one. Don’t let all of these high-flying dunk highlights fool you, the Spurs youngsters’ futures are bright but for naught without consistency and defense.

And last but never least, the full game highlights:
Next up, the Spurs head on over to NoCal to take on the Sacramento Kings on Friday, April 7, 2021.
