Bryn Forbes found a home with the Milwaukee Bucks

The undrafted Michigan Spartan lit it up last night.

Miami Heat v Milwaukee Bucks

I was watching the Milwaukee Bucks annihilate the Miami Heat last night and at halftime, guess who the Bucks leading scorer was?

Nope, not NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo.

It was former San Antonio Spurs guard Bryn Forbes. Yep, Sparty was lighting it with 19 points hitting five threes and going seven-of eight.

No one would know he’s capable more than Spurs fans, but even Twitter was alight with recognition that Forbes fit with the Finals hopeful team is stronger.

Truth is, when the reigning two-time league MVP is pulling defensive focus, you have to be able to hit open threes. Bryn could always hit open threes. Now that is what he gets to focus on since the Bucks are not depending on him to start and defend like he had to while covering for Derrick White.

Let Bryn be Bryn.

Best of luck to the former Spurs guard, Coach Bud, Giannis, and the Bucks as they look to close this series quick, put a nail in Miami’s coffin, and face the winner of the Brooklyn/Boston series.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go finish the second half of this game!
