San Antonio native Kiana Williams just led her team to an NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship at the AlamoDome surrounded by friends and family.

Matt Bonner interviewed Kiana in Episode 12 of his Spurslandia podcast.

Williams reminisced about her childhood in San Antonio and her upbringing. Coming from a basketball family shaped Kiana’s style on the court as well as her time at the Spurs Youth basketball Camps. Kiana especially credits Tony Parker with her teardrop and her determination to play the point guard.

The Wagner High School standout has a huge basketball future ahead. Definitely a player to keep your eyes on as the WNBA comes knocking.
