In a role newly pioneered for the Spurs Organization, former Twitch executive Katrina Palanca is joining as Vice President of Global Partnerships. Palanca’s position is designed with the goal of “accelerating the organization’s next chapter of global growth by building marketing platforms that drive tangible value for partners and SS&E.”
“Katrina has deep experience building and executing innovative partnerships with brands looking to authentically connect with consumers through sports,” says, Frank Miceli, Senior Vice President of Revenue & Franchise Operations for SS&E.
Palanca most recently served as Director of Sponsorship Strategy & Operations at Twitch, where she helped launch the inaugural group of official marketing partners for Twitch Rivals. She also lead her team in securing partnerships on behalf of premium gaming properties around the world.
This is not Palanca’s first foray with sports she once led the Global Marketing Solutions team at BSE Global, which owns and operates the Barclays Center and the Brooklyn Nets, playing a key role in launching the Nets’ inaugural NBA jersey patch partnership with Infor.

Palanca earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations, advertising and applied communications from the University of Guam, her native country.
