The Spurs have officially announced their April and May promotional giveaway schedule that includes a celebration honoring Tim Duncan’s induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

This special event falls on May 15th in San Antonio’s penultimate game of the regular season against the Phoenix Suns. And Spurs fans in attendance will receive a yet-to-be-disclosed souvenir.

The Coronavirus pandemic postponed the Class of 2020 Enshrinement Ceremony a year ago, and it has been rescheduled and relocated to May 15th at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Tim Duncan was a 15-time All-Star, All-NBA, and All-Defense honoree, a five-time league champion, two-time Regular-Season MVP, three-time Finals MVP, All-Star Game MVP, and Rookie of the Year during his 19-year tenure with the Silver and Black.

After being drafted by the San Antonio Spurs first overall in the 1997 NBA Draft, Tim Duncan and Gregg Popovich formed the winningest player-coach tandem of all-time, surpassing the likes of Phil Jackson/Michael Jordan, Pat Riley/Magic Johnson, and Red Auerbach/Bill Russell.

The Big Fundamental ranks 15th in NBA history in scoring with 26,496 points, and his combined 1,158 regular season and playoff victories are second only to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He is also the all-time franchise leader in games, minutes, points, blocks, and rebounds.
