The Spurs, as Sean Elliott so eloquently put it, beat themselves in Thursday night’s loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. But even when the win eludes the Silver & Black, there are noteworthy moments.
Patty Mills just moved into 6th in NBA history for three-pointers made off the bench, passing J.R. Smith with his 1,023rd trey.

Patty Mills hit his 1,023rd triple coming off the bench which is enough to supplant J. R. Smith.
Earlier this season, Mills passed Manu Ginobili as the Spurs franchise bench 3-point assassin. His 930th as a Spur came on January 18th and knocked the Argentinian down.
Next on the list is Jason Terry who is sure to be passed as he is only fifteen shots from downtown ahead of the Tasmanian Devil. He’s still more than 300 hits away from taking the top spot from Kyle Korver, but with FIBA Patty, anything is possible.
