The Spurs are sharing the ball and spreading the wealth

NBA: New York Knicks at San Antonio Spurs Daniel Dunn-USA TODAY Sports

Trey Lyles was last night’s scoring leader for the San Antonio Spurs.

In doing so, he became the ninth different player on the Spurs roster to hit the mark. That ties the Memphis Grizzlies for the most in the NBA this season.

That said, Lyles was still humble about his personal accomplishment.

“It was awesome everybody got a chance to play tonight, everybody went out and contributed, played at a high level, played with intensity and it just showed how deep we are as a team. You know, the young guys came in, stepped up, played well, and got in and made shots, it was team effort.”
