Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.

The Marquese Chriss era is over in San Antonio, and while Gorgui Dieng was signed this morning, he won’t be available tonight. The Silver and Black found their missing offense in the game against the Bulls on Saturday night, and tonight they hope to continue that trend against the red-hot Sacramento Kings. De’Aaron Fox is one of the quickest and most talented young guards in the league, and seeing him matched up against Dejounte Murray will be a treat for the fans as they see if the Spurs can slow down the Sacramento Streak. Derrick White has slowly worked himself into shape and is poised for a big breakout game tonight. Look for a big night from Drew Eubanks, who will be making a case for continued playing time, even though the Spurs have picked up the talented Dieng to handle the backup center spot.

In Sacramento, a hooper can be a King, and to the Inland Empire wins they will bring. But even with all the of shots that they sling, they will be in trouble when they face the mighty Dieng.

One final word:

Go Spurs GOOOOOO!!
