It’s time for San Antonio Spurs vs Los Angeles Clippers (again)

The Spurs face the team that blew them out last night and try for a better outcome

Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.

As the Spurs are mired in a 3 game losing streak, and with the entire league distracted with the trade deadline and wholescale player movement, it would be a perfect time for the sleeper Spurs to pull off a huge upset against the elite Clippers, who cruised to an easy 33 point win last night. Or not. In any case, it’s going to be a night to see if the Spurs can come back with a stronger effort than last night’s debacle, where the Clippers steamrolled the Silver and Black in a methodical fashion. Lonnie Walker IV is still out tonight, so the offensively challenged Spurs will need to find some outside shooting to break out tonight. Perhaps Derrick White can find his touch, or maybe Coach Pop will finally unleash Luka Samanic on an unsuspecting league. Watch and find out.

My name is Luka, I’m on the second team. I play sometimes for you. Yes, I think I’ve played here before. I don’t always run the plays exactly right, But while in the Gubble, I just began to see the light. Just don’t ask my why it was, just don’t ask why it was . . . Pop only yells until you try, and after that you don’t ask why, you just don’t argue anymore, you just don’t argue any more.

One final word:

Go Spurs GOOOOOO!!
