“We’re excited to be offering in-person camps for the first time in 2021,” said Joe Clark, Spurs Sports & Entertainment, VP Youth Sports and Community Engagement. “What we teach at these camps is bigger than basketball and those lessons are so valuable for young athletes, especially after the last 12 months of living through a pandemic. We teach teamwork and help build character along with the physical and mental skills needed to be the best teammate possible both on and off the court.”
As a matter of best health practices, all coaches, staff members and athletes will undergo a health screening and temperature check prior to entry each day. Attendees will be required to wear a mask during camp and can remove them while eating or drinking. Additional health and safety protocols can be found at Spurs.com/CampSafety.
