It’s time for San Antonio Spurs at Milwaukee Bucks

The Spurs have beaten the bad teams on this road trip, tonight they face a contender

Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.

The Spurs have taken care of business on the current road trip against under .500 teams, putting away the Pistons, the Bulls and the Cavs, although the last two were a bit of a roller coaster ride for fans of the Silver and Black. Their only loss on this trip was when an Embiid-less Sixers team blew them out 134-99. Tonight, they get a chance to redeem themselves with a better effort against an Eastern Conference title contender, the Milawaukee Bucks. The Bucks have Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is perennially in contention for the league’s MVP, and Bryn Forbes, a former Spurs starter who comes off the bench for the Bucks. With Dejounte Murray and Patty Mills out tonight for rest on the second night of a back-to-back, the Spurs will have to relate on Derrick White to break out from his post-Covid offensive slump and for Lonnie Walker IV to have a big game after resting last night.

Tonight the Spurs need to stop the Bucks, Giannis drives the lane like two semi trucks! Pop said, “There’s only one way to make the Bucks offense stall, you’ve got to build a f***ing wall!”

One final word:

Go Spurs GOOOOOO!!
