It’s time for San Antonio Spurs at Detroit Pistons

Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.

If there was a mercy rule in basketball, the Spurs would have got on the plane to the Motor City early last night, but then again, they were hardly even there in Philly for most of the night anyway. The less said about that debacle, the better. Tonight, the Spurs are still without Demar DeRozan, but it will be interesting to see how the young guys in Silver and Black can bounce back from their worst effort of the season. This is a very winnable game for the good guys, they need to respect their opponent, and play with purpose, and they can even up their record at 1-1 on the current road trip on the second game of the road FIGASENI.

In Philly, the Spurs were like a kitten, Tonight they play in the Motor City, they best beware or they’ll get bitten, because that there is one mean kitty.
