The Spurs try to sweep the mini-series against Steph Curry and the Warriors tonight

NBA: Golden State Warriors at San Antonio Spurs Daniel Dunn-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.

Steph Curry was amazing Monday night, but the most impressive basket of the evening was a three-point shot from Dejounte Murray with Andrew Wiggins all over him to give the Spurs a four point lead with 12 seconds left. Curry made it interesting, but the Warriors ran out of time as Draymond Green heaved a poorly considered shot in the general direction of the basket as time ran out. Tonight, they run it back, but Derrick White will be out for toe recovery reasons. while Lonnie Walker IV may be back for the good guys. The Spurs will have to put forth another solid effort to get another win and sweep the two game mini-series against Golden State.

It’s time to go on the road, and and leave behind the rodeo. Love isn’t just a song you hear on the radio, in order to leave victorious, the effort must be glorious, to win, you don’t need to hurry, in the end, Murray must dominate Curry.

One final word:

Go Spurs GOOOOOO!!
