DeMar DeRozan leads team effort in holding off the Rockets

The good guys held strong against the Rockets’ comeback attempt.

Out of the gate, the Spurs led for most of the game and eventually outlasted the new-look defense-capable Rockets. Number 10 continued his stellar play and stuffed the box score to the tune of 30 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists. Derrick White, in the starting lineup for the first time all season, had 14 points and 5 assists. Six total Spurs scored in double figures for the total team collaboration win.

DeMar DeRozan, with his second straight 30-point game, came through in the clutch down the stretch once again:

Coach Popovich tinkered with the starting lineup due to injuries and put Derrick White right to work from the get-go:
