Pop spent his birthday getting the COVID-19 vaccine

His PSA creates further awareness of the process currently believed to prevent spread of the novel coronavirus.

Gregg Popovich spent his birthday getting the vaccine for COVID-19. Additionally, he allowed a video of the procedure to be taken to use as public service announcement.

Always one to step up for what’s right, Pop has joined a long list of celebrities, politicians, and personalities who have filmed their experience in hopes of broadening awareness.

“I’m going to get the COVID vaccine shot. It’ll keep me safe, keep my family safe, and keep other people safe. Wearing masks is important and to get the vaccine does give you an added level of assurance. Science-wise it’s a no-brainer. It’s the right thing to do so we can get on track again.
