It’s time for Basketball: Spurs vs Lakers

The Silver and Black attempt to even their record tonight against the Purple and Gold

Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.

Lebron James is questionable with a sore ankle tonight, and the superannuated cagers from the San Fernando Valley, who barely escaped a loss to the Grizzlies on Sunday when Ja Morant missed a late free throw, are in the AT&T Center tonight to face the well-rested Spurs. This will be a great chance for the Spurs to work their way back to a .500 record before they travel to Dallas on Thursday night to face Luka Doncic and the Mavericks. If the Spurs can find their shot, this will be one of the most winnable games in the current stretch which is loaded with Western Conference contenders. Let’s watch Bill and Sean and see how Gregg Popovich’s plan comes together, shall we?

A tisket a tasket
Lonnie scored a basket
Keldon was truckin’ down the avenue
With just a single thing to do
Take the ball and pick it up
And put it in the bucket

One final word:

Go Spurs GOOOOOO!!
