It’s time for Basketball: Spurs vs Bucks

After last night’s test against the Nuggets, the Silver and Black face the champs tonight

Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.

The young Spurs put up a good fight last night in Denver, but they also showed that they have a ways to go. Despite 20 turnovers and poor shooting, they kept themselves in the game, but reigning MVP Nikola Jokic was able to hold off the last second surge of the Silver and Black almost single-handledly by getting to the hoop and making tough shots. Tonight, they face Giannis Antetokounmpo and the NBA champion Bucks, who could be even tougher than the Nuggets. Keldon Johnson had one of his best games as a Spur last night, and he’s going to have to do it again if the Spurs have a chance at upsetting the champs and remaining undefeated at home.

Keldon goes AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!
As he crashes to the basket
Don’t question whether he’ll go fahhhh
There’s no need to even ask it

One final word:

Go Spurs GOOOOOO!!
