Heading down to the AT&T Center tonight

This is my favorite time of year in San Antonio. The ridiculous triple-digit temperatures have begun to subside, and with the cool breeze comes the start of another NBA season. While some heavy hitters started off last night, the only team that makes my calendar is the San Antonio Spurs. And this season feels particularly optimistic.

From the returning core of young players looking to improve to the newest acquisitions, the sense that this squad may gel gives hope to fans who have struggled since their beloved team was forced to trade away a top five player and rebuild in strange increments.

As always, I will be there for the opening game. I hope you can be there to. There is something to being there, and for those of you devout fans from all over the globe (shout out to Hong Kong) who can’t be there, share how you are watching/keeping up with the Spurs.
