Spurs Sign Aric Holman

The Spurs are reported to have signed Aric Holman to an Exhibit 10 contract. Aric is a 6'10" center from Mississippi State Bulldog who went undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Lakers, but was cut to sign Dwight Howard. The Dallas Mavericks claimed him off waivers, and he played the 2019/2020 season with the Texas Legends. Last year, he signed and played with ratiopharm Ulm in Germany, where he shot 46.2% from 3pt range on 2.6 attempts per game in Eurocup play. In the German League, he shot 41.6% from 3 on just over 2 attempts per game. Defensively, he rebounded the ball a little in Eurocup action at 5.6 per game, but only 3.6 in the German league. Doesn't generate many assists, but doesn't turn the ball over. Verdict? Developmental stretch 5, with some rebounding and mediocre shotblocking ability.
