Great news - Spurs H.E.B. commercials are coming

Yesterday was Keldon Johnson’s twenty-second birthday. Instead of kicking up his feet and enjoying a well-deserved day off, the recent Olympic gold medalist celebrated his birthday with some of his fellow teammates filming the 2021-2022 H. E. B. commercials.

The Spurs broadcast is never complete without the addition of the local grocers advertisements which yearly feature the Spurs players.

The commercials have become a celebrated part of the upcoming season. Their reveal typically receives much hype before airing and garners additional discussion after.

Last season’s novel pandemic put a pause on the yearly ritual, so it is good to see their return.

A glimpse into the day was shared on Spurs Twitter as the players and Keldon “Happy Birthday” while on the set.
