It’s time for Basketball: Spurs at Magic

Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.

The Spurs play another practice game this afternoon. This game might be a little more interesting that the last few, since it’s against the team that the Spurs will be playing on October 20 in the season opener, so it’s a chance to see if the Spurs young core can hold up against Orlando’s starters. The Spurs have one more preseason game on the schedule, Friday night they will play the Rockets in the AT&T Center for the final warmup before the season begins.

Once again, there’s no local broadcast for this preseason game, but the good part of that is that if you have League Pass, it won’t be blacked out in Central Texas. If that’s actually a good part.
