Spurs guard Derrick White puts fans onto his hometown Denver, Colorado

Whether on the court or on the street, the Derrick White you see is the genuine article. White and his wife recently shared their hometown of Denver on the Whistle series “Put You On.”

White and his wife enjoy workouts in the region where they met, especially Red Rocks. Attending concerts at Red Rocks is one of their favorite pastimes.

“This is probably the best concert venue in America, there is no bad seat in the house.” - Derrick White

The video is replete with great video of the area including ariel shots of the venue.

White admits his favorite food is Mexican. That said, San Antonians will have to forgive that his favorite Mexican restaurant is in Colorado. (We’ll have to take him out around town to confirm he’s getting the best culinary experiences possible.)

As is typical of White, he is not afraid to get into the mix and have fun. Toward the end of the tour, he serves ice cream at one of his favorite spots. If you are already a fan of Derrick’s chill personality and honest approach to facing cameras, you’ll enjoy this video.
