Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.
The Spurs are on a roll, coming off two consecutive wins in Staples Center against the two Los Angeles teams that play there. Tonight, the Spurs face the Minnesota Timberwolves, who, despite their losing record, should provide an interesting test for the good guys. Karl-Anthony Towns is questionable tonight, and if he’s not there, the Spurs should have a rare game where they have a clear talent advantage over they Western Conference opponent, but that’s just the kind of game that’s dangerous for them. Hopefully, Gregg Popovich has the team prepared to give maximum effort tonight, because they’ll be right back at it tomorrow night with another game against the same team in the same arena. Today is the FIGABABA, tomorrow is the SEGABABA.
One final word:
Go Spurs GOOOOOO!!
