The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Los Angeles Lakers as they continued to find success from downtown alongside a continued display of energy and effort in their second win in a row. There are many different reasons the Spurs have broken through with two wins against both L.A. teams, but having Aldridge back was perhaps the biggest one. Number 12 paced the Good Guys with 28 points, going 3 for 7 from the arc, and moved to 48th on the all-time scoring list while DeMar DeRozan pitched in 19 points and 8 assists for the night.
