So there’s this:
Keldon Johnson joins Tim Duncan and David Robinson as the only players in Spurs history to make 25 PTS and 10 REBS in their first 25 games pic.twitter.com/txA48tucgo— Spurs Nation (@SpursNationCP) January 3, 2021
Not that the stat needs much analysis or explanation, because any time your name is spoken in the same breathe with David Robinson and Tim Duncan, you know you’re in good company.
It’s just an appropriate achievement to mention specifically today as the San Antonio Spurs head into Los Angeles to take on the Clippers. The Clippers, of course, are anchored by Kawhi Leonard whose exit from San Antonio made the acquisition of Keldon Johnson possible.
It is quite possible that Keldon will be face-to-face with The Klaw in the heat of battle at the Staples Center tonight.
