Sopaipillas and Honey. Chips and Salsa. Butter and Tortillas. Just a couple of complimentary culinary combinations that belong together. And now the Spurs and food trucks, two San Antonio favorites, are coming together to bring curbside cuisine to the 2-1-0.

The brand new Spurs Street Eats food truck will officially fire up its engine at a grand opening event on October 3. Though Spurs Sports & Entertainment hasn’t announced a location for the debut, the mobile eatery will appear at food truck parks and neighborhoods throughout the city four days per week.
The fiesta-colored food truck will be available by reservation for local restaurants and private events, and while the menu consists of concession stand favorites like nachos, AT&T Center chefs will also be cooking up empanadas, pincho de carne, street tacos, and pan con lechon.
In addition to the delectable meals on wheels detailed above, the Silver and Black are leaving the final spot on the menu up to the fans. San Antonians will have until September 27 to vote either chile poblano nachos or loaded baked potato fries onto the table.
