It’s time for the NBA Draft Lottery

The Spurs are in the lottery for the first time since 1997, and are hoping to move up from the 11th spot

Welcome to the LOTTERY Thread. Veterans of discussion threads know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.

It’s been a while, but tonight we find out if the Spurs can move into one of the top four draft slots, or whether they will stay at 11th. There’s even a slight possibility that they could move down a spot or two if some of the teams seeded below them move into the top four, but let’s hope that doesn’t happen. Tonight, Peter J. Holt will represent the Spurs, and we will know pretty early on whether they’ve moved into one on the top four spots, because if they aren’t among the first four teams announced, they’ll be one of the last four.

One final word:

Let’s all cheer for the Silver and Black to pick a winning combination and secure a high enough pick to pick a new star in the Silver and Black constellation. Even if they end up not improving their position, they will end making their highest draft pick since they picked Tim Duncan in 1997. Go Spurs GOOOOOO!!
