The Spurs are beginning to hold virtual press conferences and yesterday DeMar DeRozan took a few moments outside of basketball conversations to share about the social injustices currently being addressed on a national level.
“It’s been a priority for not just athletes, but people in general, to be conscious of making this place a better place.”⁰@DeMar_DeRozan on continuing the fight against social injustice. pic.twitter.com/y2yMgk71jO

“Social injustice . . . last couple of months been on the forefront bigger than it’s ever been. It’s given everyone the opportunity to step up and try to make a difference.”
The video showcases DeRozan’s activism in his hometown of Compton.
“Us being athletes and having a platform to be able to reach out and bring people together, bring cities together, bring races together is kind of been a priority, not just for athletes, but people in general to be conscious of this place a better place.”
More press conferences have been recorded and will be released, so check back often to hear from your favorite Spurs players.
