One of the Spurs previous centers could be the answer to the hole at the 5

The Spurs are missing LaMarcus Aldridge and Trey Lyles as they start scrimmages in Orlando. That’s a lot of paint to cover without a seasoned vet.

There are options with the signing of Tyler Zeller as well as two-way player Drew Eubanks and G-Leaguer Chimezie Metu, but none of this guys are proven and don’t immediately boast confidence in backing Jakob Poeltl in the five spot.

The three best known centers who left San Antonio in search for a larger payday in recent years were Aron Baynes, Dewayne Dedmon, and Boban Marjanovic.

If you could have one of the still-active, previous Spurs big men in Orlando, who would it be?

Could one of these guys enhance a young Spurs squad who is short two big men heading into the Orlando series?
