It’s like Star Wars, you already know how it’s going to end, but you watch happily anyway. Unlike the story that takes place in a galaxy far, far away, this is right here in our backyard. Each playback features a quartet as opposed to a trilogy, and instead of three series, there are five. Also, there is no Jar Jar Binks to annoy you (unless Rip Hamilton’s unnecessary use of the Phantom of Opera mask is deemed an annoyance).
Tonight, the exciting conclusion of the 2005 NBA Finals between the San Antonio Spurs and Detroit Pistons takes place at 6:00 p.m. with game 5, the last in Detroit followed by game 7 from San Antonio at 8:00 p.m. CST.
Don’t miss this series, the tightest in the Spurs saga.
