Today is Matt Bonner’s 40th birthday

Just how the Red Mamba choses to celebrate remains to be seen.

From the highlights . . .

. . . to his Bonnerific retirement . . .

. . . even through failed my attempt to get #15 retired, Matt Bonner has been a Spur through and through.

It’s great that even post-basketball The Red Rocket has continued to raise his family here in San Antonio and participate with the Spurs game analysis. He’s become quite a community participant, even helping to bring in the New Year as a DJ down in Hemisphere to 50,000 fans last December.

Hopefully in the future we will see Bonner taking a larger role in our game-enjoying experience.

It must be strange to have to celebrate quietly at home due to the current situation keeping San Antonians in their homes, but I am sure his family will find a way to make the day special.

Happy birthday, Red Mamba.
