Kobe Bryant once ripped DeMar DeRozan for wearing Jordans

In a recent online discussion with Nate Robinson, Spurs star DeMar DeRozan told a funny story from his younger NBA days when he faced off against his mentor and late NBA great Kobe Bryant. DeRozan was a believer in the mantra that you didn’t wear a player’s shoes when playing against them, so one time when the Raptors were facing the Lakers, he wore some Jordan 10’s. Suffice it to say, Kobe was not happy with him.

It’s probably safe to say he never made that mistake again.

As the NBA world continues to grieve over the loss of Kobe, it’s always nice to hear these funny stories in memory of him.
