It’s time for San Antonio Spurs at Portland Trail Blazers

After the debacle in the City of Angels, the Spurs head north to face Damian Lillard and the Blazers

Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.

There’s a rumor that the annual Rodeo Road Trip started about a week ago, but since the Spurs still have only 22 wins, that seems unlikely. I think the Spurs were in Los Angeles earlier this week, but they probably never even left their hotel, right? Tonight, the Spurs travel to Portland to face the resurgent Trail Blazers. Damian Lillard has been on a tear lately, and C.J. McCollum always gives the Spurs trouble. The Spurs are running out of time to secure a playoff spot, and Derrick must dominate Damian. The Spurs could advance to 9th place in the west with a win tonight, or fall further back with a loss, with the Pelicans and Suns right behind them. Go SPURS GooOOOoo!!
