It’s time for San Antonio Spurs at Utah Jazz

The well-rested Spurs play the penultimate game of the Rodeo Road Trip tonight

Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.

Just before the All Star Break, the Spurs played one of their best road games of the season as Dejounte Murray led the Silver and Black to a win against the Thunder. With nobody on the team playing in Chicago at the All Star Game this year, the team had a well-deserved break, with DeMar DeRozan visiting his alma mater, and Patty Mills traveling to Australia to assist with recovery from the devastating fires down under. Tonight they face Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, and the Jazz in another tough Western Conference matchup. Hopefully, the good guys can build on their solid performance in OKC, and not revert to the fourth quarter ineptitude of the first five games of the road trip. Go SPURS GooOOOoo!!
