San Antonio Spurs swingman DeMar DeRozan chased a home intruder out of his residence just a few weeks ago, according to a report from TMZ Sports.
The unidentified suspect allegedly made his way upstairs and came into contact with one of DeRozan’s children in their play-area before the four-time All-Star confronted the intruder and chased him off the premises.
As if an already strange story couldn’t get more peculiar, the man supposedly fled the Los Angeles area neighborhood only to return and be arrested in a second attempt to break into the gated community.
In another odd twist, the suspect told police he was targeting reality television star and social media icon Kylie Jenner’s home but mistakenly broke into DeRozan’s house in his confusion.
The man has since been charged with one count of felony burglary and been served with a restraining order to keep him away from the DeRozan and Jenner residences.
DeRozan later confirmed the story during his media availability on Saturday and told San Antonio reporters that no one was injured in the incident and that both he and his family are doing fine.
