Highlighting the best plays of the 2019-2020 San Antonio Spurs season

The good, the launchpad, and the downright nasty.

It was a rough season. For the first time this century the San Antonio Spurs finished with a losing record. While there doesn’t seem to be the normal annual jubilee and appreciation, there is a lot to be thankful for, and a lot to be impressed by.

This season we witnessed the return of Dejounte Murray, the emergence of Lonnie Walker IV, the display of the Poeltl Jam, acrobatic lay-ups, posterizing dunks, three-point heroics, and all the buzzer-beating finales necessary to get us inspired about what is to come.

But what was the highlight of the past season?

Was it that time against the Lakers when Rudy Gay hit an effortless three from so far outside the arc he could high-five the crowd? How about when Patty Mills ended overtime against the Phoenix Suns by hitting a jumper from the free throw line? Or perhaps the entire fourth quarter against the Houston Rockets when Lonnie Walker IV unleashed his fury and causing Mike D’Antoni to declare victory when the final score was clearly not in his favor.

Whatever your pleasure, the Spurs did it and did it with style.
