Sources: NBA players must report by Nov. 30, group workouts will begin Dec. 6

New dates are coming out amidst the most chaotic few weeks in NBA offseason history.

As NBA teams scramble to get through the draft and free agency in a matter of weeks, more dates are starting to come out with regards to what will happen once players actually begin reporting for training camp. According the Shams Charania of The Athletic, group practices will begin between December 4-6, but players must report by November 30 and pass three COVID-19 tests first. Individual workouts will be permitted in the meantime.

It’s hard to believe the start of the new NBA season is only 35 days away, and yet there is still so much to be done. The trade moratorium was just lifted yesterday, the draft is tomorrow, and free agency will being at 5 PM CT on Friday, November 20. In other words, a drawn-out affair that usually lasts for three months (i.e. draft and free agency) is all being crammed into less than two weeks. Enjoy the ride, Spurs fans!
