The San Antonio Spurs have conducted a pre-draft workout with ASVEL point guard and projected late-first-rounder Théo Maledon, according to Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News.
French point guard Theo Maldon says the Spurs are one of four teams for whom he has conducted a pre-draft workout. Brooklyn, Boston and Toronto are the others.

Each organization is only allowed ten in-person meetings this draft cycle, and San Antonio has five remaining after working out Deni Avdija, Patrick Williams, Onyeka Okongwu, Aaron Nesmith, and Maledon.
Though drafting the french floor general with the 11th pick would be considered a reach, with the lack of consensus surrounding this class, there’s a chance Maledon slips into the second-round where he would be a smart investment for the Spurs at 41.
Not only does Théo Maledon carry the unique distinction of having played for the Tony Parker owned club ASVEL, but he was one of the brightest young talents in the Ligue Nationale de Basket and a regular starter during EuroLeague competition.
