After a frustrating season full of pandemic-induced twists and turns that ended in the unfamiliar sting of missing the playoffs, the San Antonio Spurs are finally less than a week away from making one of the most meaningful drafts decisions in franchise history.

While the Silver and Black hold their highest draft positioning since taking Tim Duncan first overall in the 1997 NBA Draft, there’s little chance PATFO find a trajectory-altering talent in a class conspicuously short on premium prospects, especially with the 11th pick.

Tom Petrini and Evan Closky of KENS 5 and the Big Fundamental Podcast join me via Zoom to talk about the 2020 NBA Draft, Spurs trade rumors, in-house free agency, and how the possible absence of a G-League season could impact San Antonio’s developmental system.
