Vanderbilt sophomore and projected mid-first-round pick Aaron Nesmith had a pre-draft workout with the San Antonio Spurs, according to Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News.
In a Zoom call with NBA reporters, Vanderbilt's Aaron Nesmith mentions the Spurs as one of five teams for whom he has participated in a pre-draft workout.

NBA teams are only allowed ten in-person visits with prospects this draft cycle, and San Antonio has already met with Deni Avdija, Patrick Williams, Onyeka Okongwu, and Terry Armstrong.
Most mock drafts project Nesmith to come off the board after the Spurs make the 11th pick, and I have him ranked 15th in this class, though his blend of shot versatility and defensive playmaking is enticing.
Nesmith averaged 23.0 points per game on 52.2% shooting from beyond the arc (8.2 3PA) before a foot injury cut his breakout campaign short, and the Silver and Black could use his long-range prowess to improve their spacing.
