It’s very strange to have the World Series just a week after the NBA Finals end, but during this novel coronavirus, sports fans will take what they can get.
After exciting series in both conference finals going to seven games, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and the Los Angeles Dodgers are heading to the World Series. Los Angeles has an opportunity to nab titles in two of the major sports within a matter of weeks.
What’s the San Antonio take? From 1977-2000, San Antonio’s AA baseball team was affiliated with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Although the team has been known predominantly as the Missions, from 1977-1987 they were the San Antonio Dodgers. Over 200 players from the San Antonio farm team made it to Los Angeles during the 23 seasons.
