The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo is officially leaving the AT&T Center and returning to the Freeman Coliseum in 2021, according to a Facebook post from the organization this morning.

The three-week event has called the grounds of the AT&T Center home since 2003, and February always marks the beginning of the San Antonio Spurs’ annual Rodeo Road Trip.

After managing just two wins on the merciless 2020 Rodeo Road Trip, the Silver and Black are now a pitiful 5-17 on their extended excursion over the last three seasons and 99-56 (63.9%) all-time.

While there is no news on whether the San Antonio Spurs plan to embark on the Rodeo Road Trip in 2021, you would have to believe eliminating it from the schedule might be in play. The main question would be if the shared grounds could handle the parking and traffic of both events simultaneously.
